BULLET TRAINS

 BULLET TRAINS

Introduction:

One of the fastest type of trains which will travel max. 350mile route at the

speed of 750mph will travel for 35 mins of duration are supersonic trains

Which works on the principle of maglev (magnetic levitation) technology,

this technology will help to eliminate ground friction.

History

Hideo Shima and his team who designed the bullet train was a Japanese

mechanical engineer who was born in1961 in Osaka and completed his

education in Tokyo. where this project was planned and implemented in just

5 years. Shinkansen was the first bullet train in Japan. further many bullet

trains were introduced. But now also Shinkansen(bullet train) is used which

carry 10 million peoples in the japan from one place to another place.

Normal express took six hours 40 mins to travel whereas this train took

three hours 10mins to travel from Tokyo to Osaka

Working:

When we aerodynamic external look along with the light body and

wheels, it does not consist of locomotive engines instead of which

small motors are present jointed along with the wheels which help to

reduce the noise and which dies not produces load on the track.

Where it uses light-weighted metals like aluminum for high speed.

automatic train control systems are used in the tracks for safety

purposes. high-efficiency shockers are used to avoiding hunting

oscillation which is the cause of accidents.

It generally works on the principle of Maglev technology. where this

train transportation uses two sets of magnets one set of the magnet is used to push up and repel the track while the other set is used to

elevate th3e train ahead.

Presently in 2021, major cities, including Belgium, China, Denmark,
France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Morocco, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia,
Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey, the United
Kingdom, the United States, and Uzbekistan have the bullet trains and here
are top 5 bullet trains along with their country
1.10 Talgo 350, 217 mph, Spain.
2.9 AGV Italo, 224 mph, Italy.
3. 8 Siemens Velaro, 250 mph, Spain.
4. 7 Frecciarosa 1000, 250 mph, Ital6 Fuxing Hao CR 400AF/BF, 260 mph,
China.
5.6 Fuxing Hao CR 400AF/BF, 260 mph, China.
● In the future, India will also be in the name of the country that will
have a bullet train. Presently the plans are made to bring the bullet train in India where the first bullet train will be in between Ahmedabad
and Mumbai where we will be using the Japanese technique for
implementing this plan under the influence of the prime minister.
APPLICATIONS:
● the main application is it helps to reduce the time consumption of
individuals.
● It is pollution-free as it does not consume the maximum amount of
fuel
● Low traffic is generated
● These are reliable
Disadvantage
● Lack of existing features
● It is quite costlier for construction and         maintenance
